Become a skilled Check Point troubleshooter with this 2-day course!  Instructor-led lectures and hands-on online labs provide the fundamental concepts and skills necessary to troubleshoot issues on the Check Point Security Management architecture and Security Gateways.

  • Understand communication issues that may occur when collecting logs and how to resolve them.
  • Recall various tools to use when analyzing issues with logs.
  • Understand how to restore interrupted communications during heavy logging.

  • Understand how the Access Control Policy functions and how the access control applications work together.

Requirements

  • PC with Windows 10 or later OS
  • A second monitor or additional device (e.g. tablet, laptop) is recommended for viewing the lab guide while working on the online labs.

One copy of the CCTA electronic courseware is included.

Certification

This course helps prepare you for the Check Point Troubleshooting Administrator certification exam (not included).  The exam is delivered by PearsonVUE and can be taken at any authorized PearsonVUE training facility, which includes A2N’s Mississauga head office.  Due to COVID-19 precautions candidates are encouraged to take the exam online at https://home.pearsonvue.com.
