Validate and enhance your skills and optimally manage Check Point advanced security management systems.
Objectives include:

• Upgrading a Security Management Server in a distributed environment
• Deploying a secondary Security Management Server
• Using the Check Point API tools to perform management functions
• Performing an upgrade of Security Gateways in a clustered environment
• Understanding the acceleration features of SecureXL and CoreXL
• Preventing security incidents using SandBlast, Threat Emulation and Threat Extraction
• Understanding the Check Point Remote Access solutions
• Demonstrating how to enable Mobile Access for remote users

Requirements

• PC with Windows 7 or later OS
• A second monitor or additional device (e.g. tablet, laptop) is recommended for viewing the lab guide while working on the online labs.

One copy of the CCSE R80.40 electronic courseware is included.

Certification

This course helps prepare you for the Check Point Security Expert CCSE R80 certification exam (not included).  The exam is delivered by PearsonVUE and can be taken at any authorized PearsonVUE training facility, which includes A2N’s Mississauga head office.  However, due to COVID-19 precautions candidates are encouraged to take the exam online at https://home.pearsonvue.com.
